Sony laptop freeze

Hello I have a Sony Laptop Model VGN-AW190 and when I boot up it freezes after about ten minutes. I ran it in safe mode with no problems and got rid of some registry errors and it worked well for about half an hour then it froze again and when I went to reboot I couldn't access safe mode anymore.

Try re-installing Windows if you can no longer get the laptop to boot. The hard drive may be bad. If it is, the attempted install will tell you if the drive is bad

it is now booting again but it continues to freeze after a short period of time

It is most likely a dying hard drive... not quite dead
