Sound card not working on TV

Hi all, when I try to use my TV as a monitor I am getting picture but no sound, any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

It depends on what, if any, sound inputs your TV has in the back. You might have to use an adapter if you can't connect it directly. Usually you would use the green colored jack in the back of the PC to connect to your TV. If you don't have a 3.5mm sound input jack on your TV, you'll probably need an adapter.
