i have an integrated realtek ac'97 on my mainboard and just purchased a gamesurround muse 5.1 because the realtek had serious issues (one channel couldn't be heard unless you added another consumer to the same jack...). now, both of them have the same chipset, the cmi8738, and presumably do not work together (i.e. bluescreen when i try to install both).
a temporary solution was disabling the on-board sound card but that does not solve my problem...
so, can i duplex them, or is that impossible?
