System crash in the middle

Hi all,
i buyed new pc 4(FOUR) dayS befor

Configaration

Asus G41 Mother board
Dual Core Processor
2GB RAM
500GB HDD (Parted in 9 drives)

.....but when i start operating on it or installing something,it crash in the middle
and Start rebooting.Moreover, it also take long time to Shut Down.
I didnt understand wat is causing the Problem,so..anyone out there plz. help me out
to solve the Issue.My colleuges told me that my partition is causing the problem coz it has parted in 9 drives.
So, any info or suggestion "ll be highly Appreciated.

Reinstall the operating system using 1 primary partition and see if the PC settles down. If it does settle, only use 2 partitions on that 500GB hard drive. Because of "overhead" those 9 partitions are less than 45GB each. You are losing a massive amount of usable hard drive space. I have never heard of using 9 partitions on any one drive at any time. What are you trying to do?
