The Best Headphones 2018

Philips Fidelio X2? Seriously? I'd've said the Sennheiserr HD600s were way, way, better (and the same price on Amazon.com right now, albeit discounted)
I wanted to try those out for a long time. But by the time I was able to afford them, I realized I really really needed wireless capability. And if I remember that naming order correctly, hd 600 doesn't offer wireless.

People become touchy when it comes to headphones. Especially the so-called audiophiles. For them, it's either Sennheiser or nothing.

Too bad, heaphones experiencing is subjective, and what one perceives to be the best does not matter for others.

And following the hype doesn't help as well.

I think you'll find that for true audiophiles it's actually Grado or nothing.

Just got the Bowers & Wilkins PX for $400 and they are simply amazing. They are an "upgrade" from Bose Sound Link 2.0's that I had for 2 years. Agree that phone/earbud choice is so subjective, and depends on so many other factors, that I cannot fathom trying to rate them as this article does.

Speaking of perception. Has someone managed to test the Nuraphone?

I know this list doesn't necessarily focus on the value oriented products but can someone recommend me a quality over the ear headset below $50? I'm a real noob when it comes to headphones/sets. I think I'm a little bit audiophile, didn't like my last headphone from JBL but the market is very crowded and confusing and I don't know how to choose lol.

I just bought the Monoprice Modern Retro headphones for $35 from amazon. LOVE them. Actually they are $30 but I missed checking for prices. Z Reviews on youtube reccomended. Why pay more? ;)
My $170 pair of Audio Technica shattered at the plastic swivel, and now a paperweight. Now I avoid those types of designs.

Edit: $25 direct from Monoprice with free shipping. I just ordered 2 pair and the ones from amazon are going back. I accidentally paid for Prime and didn't catch it in time for them to refund it...so no mercy for amazon.

Why not have a category called, best sound reproduction (for us hearing impaired people who normally can not hear all the various sounds)?

why not tell us which is the clearest headset, and the most realistic reproducer of sound?

These are really horrible recommendations. Couldn't an audiophile have written this up instead? I understand this is the bottom end of headphones tailored towards the average joe but come on now these are all junk lol Perhaps try and compare your recommendations to a pair of LCD-2's then update this article lol

I absolutely don't want to be walking around with a large pair of stereo monitor headphones.

I use a pair of LG TONE PRO wireless headphones with my phone because the sound quality is good, the antennae is strong and the battery life is good. Volume levels are high enough.

But when I need a wired headphone - like when I'm on international flights - I use the SONY PS VITA earbuds. $20. Easily the best earbuds I've ever owned.

What about wireless Sennheiser PCX 550?
Seriously best product I ever had, no-compromises at all
I have a set of these....loud clear 30 hours play back time... I love them, my brother listened to these and pink floyd.......his face went into bliss mode.
