The Best PC Games (You Should Be Playing)

No mention of Planet Coaster either.

Bit of a disappointing list tbh. Only DS3 is what I'd play here.
BF series is just the same since BF3 but re-skinned. It's turning into a COD show.
The whole listt smells of "AAA games the publishers told us to like and a few smaller games thrown in at the last minute"

It ignores a lot of PC only releases, smaller indie hits, GoG games, ece. Yes, the list is subjective, but the fact that only one games on the entire list is not from a AAA developers says a LOT.

Please list some examples. For those not satisfied with this list, us members, can create our own. I've been looking through the comments for some good games not mentioned. Already took down three just from the comments.

Even if the first part would be true, they are some of the best games hands down that you could play.

I played a long time with some friends APB and now we are doing Warframe. They are free to play games with freemium things, the first one is more noticeably, there are some special weapons, but if you are good at FPSs it won't matter once you get the hang of it. Warframe on the other hand, it's a lot of grinding and playing online, it's the one game I'm playing now, it allows you to be more casual and the stages are pretty cool and for the most part short, so you can pick it up and down very often. Handy for those without the option to spend half an hour straight in a match of some sorts.

Warframe got interesting when I saw a friend playing it for over a year in periods at a time. As stated before, it's freemium, but most of the exclusive content is visual upgrades only, everything else must be grinded.

The other game I played before and for a long time, was Heroes of the Storm, a nice polished MOBA by Blizzard. What caught my preference over the typical ones (Dota and LoL) was that it hit the sweet spot in time it took per game, also that with the addition of objectives in the maps it forced the fights so it was not a game of farming the first steps. If you die it's not as punishing as the others either, and some really bad starts CAN be recovered if people get together.

Really like titan fall 2 but no one is playing it online so can't recommend it. Rocket league though, I just hit 910 hours. Disc jams looks good too.

Alot of BF4 servers emptied out with the launch of BF1, now those servers are full again with returnees who found the old school weapons and the game play not as thrilling as first imagined

Wrong, there are thousands playing Titanfall. I've been playing online it almost every night since it came out. They had a problem with how they listed servers which has been addressed to great success. Now you just deselect the game modes you don't want to play and you get matches 24/7.

What no Skyrim SE a game with great graphics and stories and is completely modifiable via free mods... I've literally spent hundreds of hours playing this game even after finishing all the main quests you can always download more from the nexus mods website

Might I suggest checking out GOG, and possibly recommending something that may be really old, but now updated for modern operating systems. Many older titles are simply better than the current crop of games being released over the past few years.

Like Skyrim SE finally in x64 no more out of memory CTD's ... with all ultra settings and some nice new texture packs from Nexus Mods the game is amazing looking and what would make oldrim crawl now runs at 60fps constantly I can do higher fps but it frigs with the physics engine and shiz starts flying of table and shelves when you walk into a room

Come on with the 5+ year old games, it's the ones you should be playing, like, not the ones you may have played at one point that you should revisit.

According to you maybe, but not according to reviews and user ratings.
What reviewers dude? Most of them I've read said R6 Siege is a lot of fun, and is one of the most innovative multiplayer titles of the last 10 years. And I've seen numerous players say it cured them of their addiction to CSGO. If you base it on metacritic or some other aggregation website, if don't think you understand how they work. BF1 and OW went for simplicity and mass appeal, so ofc user scores are better.. That's like saying Europa Universalis is bad, because it's way over the head of most players. R6 siege is not nearly that complicated, but it's harder. And slower paced, enough to knock user scores down.

"Titanfall 2 is stunning; if you haven’t played it, do so now."

I bought Titanfall 1 for $2 and played it once. I'm glad there is a single player this time, as I would ease into the idea of the titans and "get it". Even so, I know this is marketing and am so leery of many "reviewers" having any sincere opinions and it's very hard to trust that there is no money under the table.

Yeah it says a lot of inde games aren't that good...Ive tried a few myself and liked some and others not so much...but it's a hard sell getting people with expensive PC's to settle for 1998 graphics which most inde games suffer with.

Not even 1 strategic/tactical game in a so-called "PC best games list".

Maybe none in the staff like that kind of game but that's one of the main reasons people are playing on PC

I'm playing in the uk on pc, it might be different in your region. Also I only play pilot v pilot and every time I log on it tells me there are 0 people in my region playing and when I try to join a game I sit there for 15 minutes and nothing. So not wrong, but thanks.

These are highly dependent on your preferred gaming style! I am a huge huge huge fan of Empyrion which is officially only Alpha but I have 800+ hours because it's so much fun. I think only 1 or 2 of the above games are ones I would play.

I'm finishing up the DLC in Skyrim now. Have the witcher 3 DLC up next followed by Fallout 4 & Dues EX in my steam library. Oh and I picked up ESO gold edition on sale too...
