I get that error message every time I open specific programs. e.g. Firefox and drivermax. I have googled it and a ie7 file called dwmapi.dll seems to be the problem, but it isn't present on my computer.
How to fix this?

Please help, please, please PLEASE!

Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to some googles, that dll is Vista-specific, so what is it doing on your XP system? Are you downloading the wrong version of those 'specific programs' you mention?

No problem, but why not actually describe the error .... 'that error message every time' ... tells me nothing, so how can I help?

When i Open firefox, it comes up with that message, and then I click OK, and thne it goes away. It is just a tad annoying.

"entry point xxx could not be located"
is a sure sign that some software is out of date with respect to a DLL upon which it
is dependent.
This seldomly happens when software is added to a system using an installer,
but frequently occurs when software is copied from one system to another
