I purchase an old Dell Latitude from the Gov (First mistake) I get BIOS but cannot reboot with win95 disc I have an A:\> at prompt But don't know what to type in any help would be great

probably boot from D: -so type that in at the prompt.

are the specs that bad that you absolutely need to install Win95?

Well thats my problem I'm not shore I can get to BIOS A08 and thats it.When I exit that I get the A:\> I enter D: and get invalid drive spec

It's a Dell Latitude CPi A336XT if that helps small 6495 MB Drive

I can get to B: if that makes sense but then it says seek error reading drive B

Sounds like the disk might be dodgy you could try a new boot disk image
