To log onto this remote computer

"To log onto this remote computer, you must have terminal server user access permissions on this computer"

This message comes up when I try to log onto a windows 2003 server from a remote computer.

Can anyone help me with this?

Give yourself terminal server access permissions on the server.

Administrators have access by default, all others must be members of the terminal services users group.

Can't log on as administrator

The administrator can't log on as well can you help me in this regard, also this issue came about as a result of been infected by the system defender malware of which I am yet to get rid of.
