Tribes 2 error...

I have loaded up Tribes 2 by disc ofcourse and i have all the right requirement (all above the minimun). When i go on to solo/lan play on training it will show the loading bar and text and a picture but when the loading bar reaches the end and has finishes i get an error saying 'wrong disc inserted' i only got 1 disc and i had that inserted.

My guess is you have a very early release of tribes2. Have been many patches/updates since the release and one of the first things to go was the need to have a disk in the cdrom. Can you find a later copy? Alternatively, there are patches out there made for t2 to do away with the need for a disk.
If you play offline, I assume that you use the ai. The most recent patch, called the community patch, has outstanding ai, very aggressive and accurate. The ai programmers have come a long way in t2.
