Trying to solve 8E and D1 errors

Ok I've done all the reading and checking I can and I've starting swapping memory sticks. But no solution to my problem yet.

I get an 8E BSOD error every couple of days (often just after I have switched on). I also got a D1 error three days ago.

Here's a couple of minidumps - I really would appreciate any help on these from someone who knows.

Latest additions to the system in the past few months were 2 x 512 memory (used) and a new wireless logitech keyboard/mouse combo.

Thanks, David

This seems to be a network adapter error... driver or card (AFD.sys)

The other minidump is a generic Windows error (WIN32K.sys)

You've got some old AV files left behind. You need to remove these. Post some new logs if it still crashes.

bae05000 bae21ac0 SYMEVENT SYMEVENT.SYS Tue Jan 17 08:39:30 2006 (43CBF672) <-- Norton.

Tmagic - not sure about afd.sys it seems to be a system file.

Peter - yes I had Nortons stuff a few years ago, I'll try and clean out the old files completely. But these blue screen problems have only started recently - could it be related?
