Hey, I'm here and I wish to join too :)

and as limpangel pointed out, techspot's newsletter is the only remaining IT related letter which is allowed in my inbox because everyone is allowed to join no matter where you are and this makes me feel that I'm in the community and not just a member of a community

Keep it up techspot! and thanks for the interesting giveaway. After all I never had a portable PC.

Very nice indeed ,only drawback is intels integrated gpu,but that is common in those range of laptop,or called by their name of netbooks . :)
Yea, its common in those range of notebooks. They have to be highly portable .

Win 7 comes with 32 and 64 DVD's. Installed Win 7 x64 over Vista x86 which went well. Boot from Win 7 x64 DVD, Custom Install, follow prompts, when all is said and done, you'll have a 64 bit OS, with all your old stuff (Program Files, Users, Windows) in Windows.Old. Quite an easy upgrade.

Well, first off, thank you very much for allowing people outside the US/Canada to join.

We really really really appreciate it. hehe

Although I'm not a fan of netbooks (anything below 13.3 inches hurts my eyes), I like to win this for my girlfriend who likes cute stuff so much.

Hope I win or Congrats to whoever wins :)

Hmmm.... what made you say 13.3 is big? I have 13.3 and I think its perfect.

I have tried a netbook, and hurts my eyes, and I can't use vista haha.

Anyway, i guess its just personal opinion and/or preference.

and on my personal opinion, netbooks are really quite small.

oh, any idea on how this thing will be ship to the winner?

I'm just worried that an ordinary carrier might ruin the prized gadget haha.

Or I guess this is where the insurance of the package comes in.

I guess my worry comes from experience in shipping, which is none... the heaviest i've ship is a couple of postcard. haha

btw

i'm a gamer, I'm just wondering whats the heaviest graphic games can this baby handle?

can this thing even do warcraft 3? if it can, i'll have no problem bringing it to lan games hahaha.

If not, what games can it handle? hopefully more than facebook and windows games

Yes, yet another entry, making this post number 2 for me...

This would be a useful tool for my life on the go, best for email and essential connectivity and word processing.

Umm yea..... That's a no brainer, who doesn't like free? Sign me up too please!

I was planning on buying a cheap used lappy for her as a Christmas gift. Now that the baby is here, we don't have any money (those little buggers are expensive!) I have yet to win a contest, but I'll keep the hope alive!

You are not allowing geographic location to limit the contest. Awesome for someone in the Philippines like me. Thank you techspot! :)
