Tsdata sound error for digital Sims Castaways

I'm getting an error "a problem ocurred while trying to transfer the data tsdata\res\sound\sfx1.package from the media" This i guess is a common issue because there were alot of google pages for the same topic, but non of them worked for me. I know its not an error from a disk because this was a digital copy I downloaded using Origin.com and is a legitimate copy, not a cd crak or whatever they call the pirated stuff. EA couldn't help me, after making me delete all of my temp files and closing all of my background tasks on my windows 7 computer, nearly crashing it if i didn't have a brain, so i got fed up with them, Please help me guys, i'm out of ideas.
