Hello,

I just re-installed this on my computer. Its been a while but it sounded fun. I am getting an error when trying to open it:
------------------------------------------------------
UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2003-02-13_18.53]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 2212 MHz with 1022MB RAM
Video: No Video

General protection fault!

History: MainLoop
-------------------------------------------

Im running a GeForce 7600GT with DX9.0c, XP pro. The readme file says i need a DX 6 compatible card and need to be running DX8.1. Is there a reverse compatibility issue here?? I cant figure it out.

Update

fixed the first error...updated/patched the game to v2225

now im getting this error:
-------------------------------------------------------
UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2003-04-07_17.42]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 2212 MHz with 1022MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT (9147)

Negative delta time!

History: UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop
------------------------------------------------------------

I dont have a clue what "delta time" is???

fixed it again

2003 era game + dual core processor = glichy

set affinity to single core and worked jsut peachy...great game. As much fun as I remembered

Ive played 2004. They added to much realism to the game. I like the cartoon ridiculousness of 2003. Better physics engine in 2003 also.

You think?! Can't see it myself, but hey, horse for horses i suppose. Looking forward to UT2007....when it eventually arrives.

I heard you could play UT2007 against people on PC and PS3, so say I have a PC version I can play against you if you have the PS3 version :)

will definitely get UT 2k7 when its out. and would be be cool if you could multi-player with a PS3...dont own one myself, but still nice to integrate the systems.
