Me too. I used my FX-6100 (oc to 3.7ghz) till March this year and switched to an i7-7700k and the performance jump is soo huge.

Depends on what you play. I played The Division a lot and the performance in this game wasn't very great. With my i7 it now runs perfectly

Depends on what you play. I played The Division a lot and the performance in this game wasn't very great. With my i7 it now runs perfectly

It runs most of the games I play at minimal settings, but I have my PC connected to my 60" 4k and would love to have some 4k games playable on it! I'm just tired of losing to kids with daddy's money in Batlefield 1 and COD. =)

basic editing isn't actually that bad, but if you use more complex editing tools this cpu struggles.

Was either the Bezoar or the White Knight. Went with Bezoar because of the upgrade package. The MSI B350M Gaming Pro is trash. If we're going to help improve someone's PC, it should be with decent components. I don't hate MSI, just that one motherboard. Some **** VRMs there.

I upgraded at the same time And I couldnt believe how big the upgrade felt. ps: Today I do my own "upgrade my pc" edition in a small way. Gotta love those upgrades you can feel and see. Thats why I like this series of Steve/HWU so much.
