Upgrading to Windows 7 - ATI 2900xt direct-x possible issues?

  1. Ok so I have a 2900xt which goes up to direct-x 10 and I want to upgrade to windows 7 from XP.

My question is: will I be able to use direct-x 10 on Windows 7 or will i need a new card?

This graphics card is fantastic and I'd hate to have to get a knew one jusat because of direct-x as there are few better than this one despite it using a lower version of direct-x.

you will be able to use the 2900 in windows 7.

directX 11 in win7 is the support, not the requirements.
