URGENT: MSI HDDs

Hi. Can anyone please help me out? How can I remove my hard disk from my MSI motherboard without any damage to the motherboard? I need to reformat my laptop, and I will like to transfer my files in my hard disk first. But the problem is, my hard disk is attached to the motherboard, and it seems really risky to remove the hard disk. Please reply ASAP if possible. It's really urgent as my university reports are all in my hard disk.

My laptop is a MSI S262 Pink Limited Edition Notebook.

Regards

Removing the hdd shouldnt be a problem as they are removable devices and are therfore plugged.

Why exactly do you want to remove it tho? What exactly do you intend to do?

The hdd will not plug into a pc internally without the correct adapter.

I need to remove my hard disk inorder to transfer out all my files before I reformat my laptop. I can't even use my laptop now, so its kind of non-operational. The problem is that the hard disk is right on top of the motherboard and is attached to it and some chips on the motherboard.

The hard drive itself is not attached to the motherboard! The drive is probably inside a caddy and can be pulled out of there.
