USB key Problem

Recently I used an SD card i think it was called. The stuff that digital cameras use. I have an SD slot in my laptop. Now however when i try to use my USB key again the drive it used to create when i plug it in no longer comes up. So i can't access my files. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?? Oh and the SD card is no longer in my computer.

Try rebooting the laptop and then try the USB key again.

Is the USB key show up in device manager and/or disk management?
