agh :blackeye: , I work on a Pavillion ZX 5000 and i just recently reformatted and re-installed windows...I am in the process of re-installing my drivers but when I go to install my Radeon Mobility 9600 (128mb) card driver, it is telling me it could not find the Video Controllers necessary..i believe similar files for my audio are missing as well...does anyone know where I could find such things and how to get my laptop up and running again...I use this for my classes everyday as I am a Digital Media Major so I need to learn about all this and get my lappy up and running ASAP

All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated and very much welcomed...

Thanks in advance! :D

Hi xrax-
Driver Heaven has a tool that allows you to convert any standard ATI Catalyst driver sets to work with Radeon Mobility chips.

Check it out at: http://www.driverheaven.net/patje/

I've have the same problem with most every Radeon Mobility laptop I've ever used (several of them). It's easier to just download the ATI Catalyst drivers, use the tool at the above link, then install the latest drivers.
