Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I have moved your thread to the correct forum.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If you decide you want to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Regards Howard

Antivermin

Thank you for your help Howard I downloaded SmitfraudFix booted into safe mode and ran the program and it cleaned out the system alert from the icon tray. I never did load the program Antivermin so I hope that my computer is safe now.

Wayne

You still need to follow the rest of the instructions and post the requested log files. That`s because I need to check whether you have any other nasties lurking on your system.

Log File

Howard,

I am allready running McAfee VirusScan, McAfee Personal Firewall Plus, McAfee Privacy Service, SpyWareBot, Spyhunter and Ad-Aware SE Personal and they all came up clean, do you still want me to load and run AVG Anti-Virus or do you think what I am running is good enough. I am also connected to the internet through a Router wich blocks a lot. There is one program that is called to run that I can't find any info on.
(O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wvipiz] D:\WINNT\wvipiz.exe)
Below is my HiJack This Log.

Thank You
Wayne

I`m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Download the Pocket Killbox programme from HERE. Extract it but don`t run it yet.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how HERE.

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE.

Go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall anything to do with(if there).

SpywareBot
Bodog Poker
PartyGaming
PartyPoker

Close control panel.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

BPGame.exe
SpywareBot.exe
wvipiz.exe
WINSTA~1.EXE
RunApp.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

Close HJT.

Run the killbox.exe file. When it loads type the full path to the file you would like to delete in the field and check the delete file on reboot button. press the Delete File button (looks like a red circle with a white X). It will prompt you to reboot, select no until you have finished inputting the files you want to delete, only then allow it to reboot and hopefully your files will now be deleted. If your computer doesn`t automatically restart, restart it manually.

This is the filepath you need to enter into killbox.

D:\WINNT\System32\nzdd.dll

Once your system has rebooted and rehide your protected OS files.

Post a fresh HJT log as well as an AVG Antispyware log and let me know how your system is running.

Finished

Howard,
I followed all of your instructions, and PC seems to be working fine. I had a problem with AVG as it locked my system up twice and I had to do a cold boot each time, however the third time it ran fine. I am attaching a picture of the AVG results and a HJT log for you to peruse as your schedule allows. I want to thank you for all your help.

Wayne

Your HJT log is clean.

I`d still like to see an AVG Antispyware log.

AVG Log

I hope this is what your looking for. Like I told you before when I ran AVG it locked up my PC twice and i had to do a cold boot. I see it did clean some files now that I found the log file. cvs log file attached

Wayne

I`m sorry, but that`s an AVG free antivirus log. What I need is an AVG Antispyware log. They are two completely different programmes.

Taken from HERE.

Download and install AVG Antispyware(formerly Ewido) from http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Double-click the icon on your desktop to run it.
On the top of the main screen click Shield. Click the word active to change it to inactive.
On the top of the main screen click 'Update'. Then click on 'Start update'. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can get the manual update at http://download.ewido.net/ewido-sign...ll-current.exe
When you have finished updating, exit AVG Antispyware.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Make sure all windows are closed. Run AVG Antispyware..
Click 'Scanner'. Then click 'Complete System Scan' to begin scanning.
When the scan is complete click 'Recommended Action' and change it to 'Quarantine'.
Then click 'Apply all actions'.

Once finished, click the save scan report button, followed by the Save report as button and save it to your desktop.

I hope that makes it clear.

AVG AntiSpyware Logs

Howard,

I hope this is what you need. I saved the before and after and then ran another scan that only let me run the after cleaned scan.

Thank You Again,

Wayne

Go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall anything to do with(if there).

Boson Software
Boson Utilities

Close control panel.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

GetPass.exe
portscan.exe

Close task manager.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or directories(if there).

E:\Move\Holding\Tools\Port Scan<Delete the entire folder.
D:\Program Files\Boson Software<Delete the entire folder.

If you have any problems in deleting the above, boot into safe mode and delete them.

Reboot your system.

You should now be good to go.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.
