Vista partition question...

is there a way i can add a partition to my hard drive to put vista on without disrupting any of the stuff that is on there currently?

"without disrupting", no.
"without deleting anything (hopefully)", yes.

You need an advanced partitioning utility that can resize NTFS partitions.

ok now is there anyway to default the selection to XP rather than vista? that way if i dont select an operating system before the 30 seconds it will automatically boot XP?
