You clearly have context understanding problems. I said I NEEDED a Titan and couldn't afford it, but could afford this... that is savings AND made something possible that wasn't before.
Clearly you are ignorant of what content creation NEEDS are. It was not a
"want" matter, projects were going unfinished due to the time constraints and this made it possible to get those projects into the queue at all. The hold back was need of more VRAM than is possible on any consumer video card on the market.
Clearly you have a very limited understanding of the concept of savings. My jobs couldn't be finished without a Titan or Quadro, and now they can be for FAR less money. What part of "far less money" is unclear to you? That is commonly called "savings" in the real world...
But then, some of us are not gamers only. Some of us are professionals and see savings differently than you gamers might...
