Weekend Open Forum: What is your most memorable moment in a video game?

Snes - super mario wolrd, killer instinct, lost vikings, mario kart, tanks, bikers from mars and so much more.
After that got a pc. Started with c&c, red alert, tiberium wars. After that dungeon keeper, populous the beginning, heroes 3,carmageddon, ahh and then blizz games, diablo, starcraft, warcrafts and most of my life went to diablo2 ^^ Diablo2 is still the best rpg that has been made. Nothing beats hardcore pvp with loot on @high level. For a moment I was considered one of best dueller with my baba ^^ I spent at least 10years with that game.. what a time :D
So after that I was addicted to counter strike ^^
Now I only have sc2 and csgo.

Ps.now that I have almost enjoyed half of my life playing games, im learning to make them.

Watching StarCrafts Cinematics for the first time. It was truly impressive.

Playing Elder Scrolls 3 Marrow wind and getting lost in the massive world.

Halo CE when you get dropped from a drop ship and take the beach. Also watching the pillar of autumn getting attacked while you escape in a drop pod.

Getting to explore the neighborhoods in GTA 3 and getting one of those clipped wing Sesna type planes airborne for a good length of time.

Defeating the final baddie in Wolfenstein 3D, General Fettgesicht, for the first time, and without cheating..that was an epic moment on my 386DX 33MHz.

Ive been playing games a long time and the one game that sticks out for me is the original Resident Evil on Playstation. When the dogs jump through the window and chase you down the hall. Awesome!

That bit in Quake IV was pretty memorable.

Edge of Chaos had some memorable moments. The first time you see a megafreighter come through is pretty amazing.

Several of the plot missions in X2 and X3 were memorable for all the wrong reasons, remember chasing the khaak scout through the asteroid? They were tricky and buggy, so it was 50/50 whether you'd fail because you timed it wrong or because you ended up on the wrong side of the scenery.

Taking on The End in MGS3 for the first time. Still the greatest boss fight in gaming for me.

Ultima Online, the first time my Animal Trainer successfully survived training a Dragon. They were pretty useless in combat, but SOOOOO cool! :)
