I'm having a very weird boot issue with my brand new 5810TG: whenever I shut it down or put it to sleep it just reboots and the Windows Recovery screen pops up telling me that the system was shut down unsuccessfully.

Specs:
CPU: Intel SU9400
GPU: Hybrid: ATi HD 4330 and Intel 4500HD
BIOS: latest (1.20)
RAM: 4GB DDR3 @ 1066MHz
HDD: 320GB @ 5400RPM
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32bits

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

NOTE: I haven't installed anything on it besides what it came with. I did update to the latest BIOS, but that didn't help.
Looking @ Acer's driver support indicated I have the latest drivers.
Googling didn't turn out anything either...

Return it under warranty repair. Could be a problem with the hard drive...

The key words here are "Brand New"

Ah... well I was wondering if I could fix this here and now.
I currently can't get it to service since it's "technically" not mine and it cant be serviced for the next 2-3 weeks.

I tried reinstalling both GPU drivers and updating the BIOS to the latest available, but no dice. :(

If anyone comes up with any other suggestions, I'd very grateful!

You will void the warranty if you mess with the hardware... Wait the 2 or 3 weeks, you will be glad you did
