That video shows how to do a dial up connection which I know how to do from years ago. Is a person posting for help in here supposed to remember & post EVERYthing they have tried? Hope not.
No need. Just a finicky router. I'm online as are others here, but thanks for the input.Have you contacted your ISP ?
They should help you for free.
They like happy customers.$$$$$$
Here you go google helpingHi No! But it helps to post the things you have tried so those making suggestions don't post the things you already tried
So help him!The OP's issue is a WiFi connection to his existing router - - not an ISP connection.
I don't think so??Your machine is older then dirt. What do you expect?I've reset the router, ipad is online. Does XP Pro have built in wifi? Not laptop, desktop.?
You mean this post. I guess I missed it. Go for it!Sorry o'boy; I'm win/7 and can't help you any further.

@DavidBailey post #27A Broadband Connection actually
That's obviously an attempt for a ISP, not WiFi connection.Going back to post #27 ... I get dial up type box Clicking connect on it,it says "Connecting thru WAN Miniport (PPPOE) & so on. I'm giving up on it for now.
