Whats the difference DVD+RW & DVD-RW?

  1. What is the difference between the DVD+RW & the DVD-RW formats?
    Can you burn on both sides of the DVD+RW?? Or ... ?_?

    RW Means that using something like Windows Xp Built in burning software, or something like nero, you can record on an RW disk more than once.

    I know what RW means But is there a difference in the +,- formats

    If I'm not mistaken it means that It can or can't record on regular CD-Rs and CD-RWs. I could be wrong but I hope I helped.
