Which Adapter to use to Convert this to IDE Hardrive

thats what i got, seagate burracuda 10.
trying to convert to work on my motherboard that support IDE.
just little bit confused on picking the "Right" adapter.

anyone knows which might work well ?

i been searching all day and found this.

it says it converts SATA to IDE but it wont fit on my.

wont fit on the back of my sata drive. atleast thats what i think.
Barracuda 10's back and that sata connector dosent seem to match.

Sata drives are designed so that they can be inserted into a backplane or external drive case, so the adapter should fit.

Yep I think that should do nicely, it's an IDE to Sata adaptor plate, its designed to be fitted into a removable drive bay by the look of it, it wont do you much good just hanging off the back of the drive, mind you if the vibration is kept to a minimum it may be OK

But your right, I can find loads of cables and adaptors for letting you use an IDE on a SATA board, but not a SATA drive on an IDE socket, anyone fancy taking a look ???

ya,
i guess i'll try to look lil bit further for a Sata to IDE interface convertor.
if i cant find i guess i'll just save up for a new mother board.
