I'm upgrading my friends computer, choosing the folowing parts:

• Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
• Corsair TWIN2X 6400C4 DDR2, 2048MB CL4
• Asus GeForce 8800GTX 768MB
• ZALMAN Power Supply 600W-HP SILENT

Now the question is which motherboard to choose for the above parts? I've looked at the Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R and Gigabyte P35-DS4. Maybe it's not the best choice.

Any comments or ideas? Thanks

Giogabyte motherboards are generally excellent, as are eVGA. Also Abit, Asus (bad tech support nowadays), and Biostar. There are plenty of reviews available with search software. I like www.tomshardware.com and www.anandtech.com.
There are a number of "Top 10 Motherboard" lists that are updated monthly.

It is helpful to get a board that is not too new, so you can avoid troubles. New boards have anomalies and artifacts that take about three months to get worked out.

Warranty is more important than anything but tech support, in my opinion.
