It seems like every other month one of the major streaming TV services—which there are a lot of—raises its prices. What started as an affordable way to ditch cable has slowly crept up in price. Why is that? FULL ARTICLE

-Streaming services are the new cable. The only difference is that now it's "decentralized". Instead of one big parasitic entity, you now have ticks all over your checkbook.

If you add the price f your basic internet service package and then start adding the price of streaming services, you get pretty close to the cost of cable.

Why do they keep raising the prices? They're basically playing a game of "chicken". They want to see how much money they can leech out of customers, before they say, "no mas", and unsubscribe

And customers well, I'm sure there;s a certain resignation displayed with thie justification, "oh well, it's only a buck or two".

Supply and demand. More of the demand and they all are raising.

Streaming services are akin to drug dealers in that; they're dealing with addicts, and they charge whatever the traffic will bear..

I think that was their plan all along. Corner the market, then raise the prices.

Well the issue is Ted Lasso on Apple, Cobra Kai on Netflix, Something on HBO MAX and others on Amazon Prime.
