windows doesnt boot

ok this is what is wrong when i start up my computer it goes to the normall start screen that lists some of the components of the computer but the letters are different and odd colors and some words are cut short! after that the computer just plain freezes.

please help!!!!!!!

sounds like you are having a hardware problem.

did you build this box yourself or purchase as an OEM.

Remove and reseat all hardware devices. especailly he video card and ram. reset bios to defaults by removing the CMOS Battery, or by jumpers.
