Hello, im having a problem with my vista OS. Im currently running vista professional 64-bit with sp1. these are my computer hardware specs

-Motherboard - MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum nForce 750a Socket AM2+ MB
-BIOS - Unsure
-CPU - AMD Phenom X4 9500 4M 95W Socket AM2 CPU
-RAM Memory - OCZ Blade 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz (Have 3 = 6GB)
-Video Card - EVGA GeForce 9400 GT 1GB PCIe w/Dual Link DVI
-Power Supply - Ultra LSP550 550w Power Supply
-Hard Drive - HITACHI 1TB SERIAL ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G (In SATA 1)
-Operating System - Vista Professional SP1 64-Bit.

Every once in a while ( usually when i open more programs at once) the OS crashes and goes to the blue screen where it conducts a physical memory dump, then i have to restart the computer. I was wondering if there are any problems with my hardware specs or if its just an OS problem, and how can i fix it? and just throwing this in there, i should be receiveing another 2g RAM stick soon, idk if this would help prevent the problem or not. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It could be anything at this point. We need more information such as have you added any hardware and espeically software before these BSODs occured? Have you updated any drivers?

Well, this is a brand new computer. I have windows xp installed on another partition. I have my drivers updated since its a custom made rig. I'll write down the error code and post it up if it does happen again, i havent had any problems with it but i probably will soon.
