Hello,

I had a new Fujitsu Lifebook. It crashes nearly everyday since I bought it. I run the memory diagnosis tool, it gave me no cause for the problem.

Here is the error code:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: System Error
Event Category: (102)
Event ID: 1003
Date: 1/22/2008
Time: 9:32:34 AM
User: N/A
Computer: LIFEBOOK72008
Description:
Error code 1000000a, parameter1 f88989b9, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 806e484a.

First Minidump - mfehidk.sys which is a driver of Daemon software.

Second Minidump - mfeavfk.sys which a driver for McAfee.

Basically these two softwares are in conflict. I read online that the way one person worked around it was to disable the Daemon driver but this is not my suggestion in any way, just relaying information.

Did you start having these crashes after you installed Daemon Tools?

Actually, I have installed both of them at the same time, so I am not sure whether it happens after Macafee or after the Daemons tools.

I have seen Daemon Tools have conflicts such as these. I would google both drivers and see what you can come up with as a work around. Daemon may have updates that take care of this problem.

And there are better solutions than McAfee for security.
