Windows Xp Home W/new Mobo

this morning i installed my motherboard into my old case
the specs now are as listed:
asrock 1333 full hd mobo
2x1gb dual channel ram
intel core 2 duo E6750 2.66ghz
350 watt power supply
160 gb seagate barracuda hdd
sony dvd rw drive
medion tv tuner card

i installed the new board, ram and processor
connecting everything in the correct place
i pressed the power button and all powered up to life!
the windows xp loading screen showed and then after that loaded to a black screen showing the mouse.
the hard drive l.e.d. showed no usage at all at this moment in time.

what am i doing wrong
how can i get windows to load?

If you've installed a new motherboard, you need to reinstall or at the very least repair Windows XP. It will not boot otherwise.
