Windows XP Pro search indexing

I have lost the option to index the network drives on my computer. When I go to "indexing options" and "modify" the network drives are no longer listed there and I do not know how to get them back. Any suggestions?

Maybe you stopped the indexing service. Try Start-run and key services.msc.
Look at Indexing service. What does it say? Startup type?

Nope, I looked at that already. Its very strange I can index them from all the other computers on the network except for one. It used to work and just stopped and I can not figure out why. All the computers are running Win XP pro with all the updates.
