Windows XP shutdown problem

when i shutdown my pc after completly shuting down it suddenly restarts.it dosent show any error msg nothing it just restarts aft shuting down automaticly

look if your going to ask a question at least offer a decent explanation of what the fault it,,,

fair enough you say that you can shut it down and it then restarts,,,but when does it restart, straight away,, after a while,,,etc

and you say it doesnt shutdown,,,does it give an error message, does it hang...
