XP Pro Black screen

So I have read many of the black screen problems. Here is mine.
I get the balck screen after the logo.
I can not get any safe modes to work.
here is the thing, I loaded another XP pro onto the same hard drive and is working fine.
Problem is I need the other xp pro to work.
ANy help would be awesome

Usually, the black screen issue comes about because one of the installs thinks you are attempting to make an illegal copy, or transfer a legal install on a hard drive to another computer.
The easiest way around this is to use the install disk to remove the partition, then reinstall the partition, then install Windows.
