Yahoo makes my computer freeze

I just updated my computer to Windows Vista Home Premium. Since then I have had problem after problem. My biggest one is when I go to yahoo.com and click on any link or mail, my computer totally freezes and I have to power down and back up to get back online. I didnt have this problem previously with xp.. Can anyone give me advice on how to make this work....ThANKS IN ADVANCE

First task is to make sure you are totally up to date with all the Microsoft updates. If you are using Yahoo messanger, make sure you have the latest v8.1 which is compatible with Vista.
