Asus ZenBook Duo - 2026

The 2026 Asus Zenbook Duo is an exceptional dual-screen laptop with great performance and battery life, and a showpiece for Intel’s new Panther Lake CPU.

Nevertheless, if you’re in the market for an innovative, dual-screen laptop, you really can’t go wrong with the Asus Zenbook Duo. It’s simply superb in almost all aspects of the experience, although I’d prefer using another keyboard if I had the chance.

Yea, the Asus Zenbook Duo’s dramatic redesign is great and all — lovely to see a hinge sit flush with those gorgeous OLED displays and the keyboard deck get a refinement in ergonomics. But the real star of the show is Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, which solves a lot of the grips I’ve had with past models while providing shockingly impressive integrated graphics performance.

Asus streamlines what was already a productivity prodigy, while new Intel hardware brings impressive power gains. It’s a niche laptop, but the latest Zenbook Duo does what it does exceptionally well.

The Asus Zenbook Duo (2026) is the best dual-screen laptop I've ever tested. It's a complete package with that potent Panther Lake processor, a pair of lovely 3K 144Hz OLED screens, much improved battery life over its predecessor and a lovely ceraluminum chassis. I'm not a big fan of its ports, though, plus the hefty boost in cost over last year's model.

The Zenbook Duo’s graphics capabilities may not sound as exciting as the hype for Panther Lake led some folk to believe. There’s only so much of a power envelope you can stuff inside a laptop chassis before you end up with a three-hour battery and a power adapter as large and heavy as a spoiled guinea pig. For a laptop of this size, the Zenbook Duo offers more than what I thought I needed. Sometimes, it’s good to be surprised.

All in all, the ZenBook UX8407 is the best dual-screen convertible on the market and definitely worth its price. There are hardly any real weak points, although it is annoying that there is no power adapter in the box in the EU. This might be something Europeans will have to get used to.

While it’s expensive and the removable keyboard deck isn’t great, the Asus Zenbook Duo more than makes up for it with a multi-screen experience that’s perfect for traveling creatives. Plus, its new Intel Panther Lake chipset will even let you game in your downtime with little to no compromises.
