Benchmarks: Far Cry 4, Grand Theft Auto V

The R9 380X fared poorly in Far Cry 4 with an average of just 49fps, making it just 2% faster than the R9 380 and 29% slower than the R9 390. The R9 380X was also 4% slower than the R9 280X and 27% slower than the GTX 970.

Grand Theft Auto V was only tested with the high quality settings as we didn't have time to update the ultra-quality results with the latest drivers. That said, the results are mostly as expected with the R9 380X providing 10% more performance than the standard R9 380 while it trailed the R9 390 by a 15% margin.
