Benchmarks: Max Payne 3, Sleeping Dogs

When testing with Max Payne 3 at 2560x1600 the Radeon HD 7990 averaged 86.7fps, making it 5% faster than the GeForce GTX 690 and 23% faster than the GTX Titan. This also meant that it matched the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition Crossfire cards, making it 72% faster than the 7970.

The frame time performance was also quite good as the Radeon HD 7990 took just 16.6ms on average between frames. That said, this did mean that it was now 7% slower than the GeForce GTX 690 and 9% slower than the GTX Titan.

The Radeon HD 7990 was a weapon when testing with Sleeping Dogs averaging 58.3fps, allowing it to match the 7970 GHz Edition Crossfire cards. As a result the 7990 was 38% faster than the GeForce GTX 690 and 77% faster than the GTX Titan.

For the first time we find that the Radeon HD 7990 is able to top the charts of our frame time testing. Taking 37.1ms between frames made it 22% faster than the GeForce GTX 690 and 15% faster than the GTX Titan.
