What does your desktop look like?

Project Looking Glass. It's in version 0.5, many apps don't work or work slowly / partially. That Firefox window left a trace there when I closed it :giddy:

Still, it's a work in progress. Too bad you can't see the 'animation' of the desktop ;)

Looks hella cool Mic, but Im not too sure about how practical it would be to use.
Just as practical as any other window manager. It's just a different way to reduce clutter. Personally, I like the way I can see what's going on in a window on background.

I just thought it'd be hard reading things like the window on the left, slanted that much, etc.

Must be a bit slimmer than what MS has in mind with Longhorn and its system requirements- not that MS would release bloated code...

New linux desktop (still the same machine though)

Can anyone help me by linking (under the wallpaper thread of course) a site with nice dual display wallpapers? Deviant art seems to have crap in this category.

My goodness Arris. Is your eyesight so bad that you need icons as big as bowling balls on the screen ??? :p

Well its not great but after I'd create the different Desklet objects (links/icons within the AveDesk environment) I couldn't see a global way of changing their sizes so I just left them. I also now have desktop sidebar running. With that and aqua dock I very rarely have to access the window start menu.. Its nice. I recommend AveDesk to anyone. You can set different effects onmouseover that make the icons bounce, glow, shake etc. Its a lovely substitute for windows shortcuts on the desktop....

I know I hadn't taken out the GRUB from my MBR but I wasn't sure if the Fedora install on my hard-drive was still functional.:p

Not my empty desktop because I don't post pictures of my kids on the web, but a typical screen shot of video editing. Crust at Room 710. (1280 x 1024)
