Help dell Vostro 1500 bios password

Can anyone help me log onto my computer. I got scammed on CL. Someone sold me a Laptop and I met him at a gas station. Now he will not reply to my emails. Their is a password that I need. As soon as I log on a bios message appears and ask me for a password.

I understand that
But having his email, it is possible if it is Hot, to save any number of others the misfortune of having their laptop stolen and resold, at a gas station
Pretty sure the reward will be worth it, in more ways than one ;)
 
Please Help me! i have a Latitude D630, Ive tried anything on this one, i took everything apart and found no 24 chip everywhere, PLEASE HELP! my Service Tag is 4LG70G1-595B Please i ll be very thankfull!
 
I have a Dell, Inspiron 9200, I can't get into it because of the Admin password.

Bought it from E-Bay but don't know the original owner so Dell won't help.

Found the guide but cannot get the paperclip method to work on the 24C04 chip.

I have a friend, (all stories start like this don't they).... I have a friend that works at a used computer store. They bought 5 computer (3 desktops and 2 laptops with pwds on them) and now cannot get them off because the guy they bought them from is long gone. The laptops are Dell Inspirons 9200 series and have 595B codes. Would I give the Service Tag here to find it or should I wait for Dell, they said it'd take 10 to 15 days for Transfer of Ownership paperwork.

No, I didn't mean the admin password. I'd erase the hdd for that trouble. The machines could be hot... dunno...
 
Dell Latitude 410 Bios Pw Reset?

Greetings,

I bumped into this forum from a huge old thread. There was a user named 'Paragon33 ' that was emailing some kind of eBook that helped you figure out how to reset the EPPOM chip in the latop to get rid of the password.

Does anyone have this eBook or any kind of easier methods of resetting the bios password on this new laptop I just obtained from a friend? He bought it from the public school district but they didn't give him the password. Really stupid if you ask me, but whatever. I assumed I could just pull out the bios battery but obviously that didn't work as such as it would on my tower.

Well Dell transfer states "up to 15 days" but it's more likely 1 (the 15 is just for them to be safe ;) )

I'd say wait for Dell

Funny thing is I tried the shorting version and thought I blew it because it wouldn't boot (the 9200 first 1)
that calc.exe password gen doesn't work so, judging from the 47 pages I read so far, can't find a hack for it anways... I could be wrong and mis read them but there were a few that would find them...

as for the 24c02 chip, it is close to DIMM B socket but I don't think it works for this comp.

Actually I'm not sure if it does (I may need to find my notes on that)
But the 595B password generator is still not available
If anyone knows of its whereabouts I'd be happy to talk with them

Using => asset /? should show you lots of uses, like Asset /o for owner tag

Password types:
1) power on password (pop). this password can be reset by unplugging the cmos battery for a while, and plugging it back in.
2) supervisor/bios password (svp). this requires reading the eeprom chip (8 leg or 14 leg) with an electronic device by using another pc's serial port or by paperclip method if model type available.
3) hard drive password (hdp). this is usually tied to svp, but not all the time. it requires special software and a library of known manufacturer's password. but can be cracked either recovering the data or wiping the data.

Have you the same reference for an HP OMNIBOOK 6200 or no, because i've got a HP and not a dell .
I can use my hp but don't access to the bios.
For a hash code [00000] what is the password ?

:( No idea, looks as though your Bios was killed or something, it may need re-programing. Again no idea - sorry :/

I think there was someone earlyer in this thread requesting a password for hash code 0000. Look back a few pages perhaps somebody helped him.

I really bought this notebook in Las Cruces, New Mexico, but bought it from second hand, i did the Tag transfer but belive me its taking to long! i have dissasembled it a couple of times, searched almost for 2 weeks all nights on internet, and found nothing, pls, help!

Help with my dell latitude cs harddrive password removal

hello today...

i hace a dell latitude cs that i got off of ebay and the person that i got it from is no longer the the e mail that I was giving and when i turned it on it was a white screen that said that the harddrive was locked and i have no way to the computer to work i ve had a few friends of mine try to work on it and waas not able to get the job done so i was woundering if any on here can help be

i tried the tag ownership transfer, but dell is no help, the bad thing is that i bought this laptop without any code and my boy put the code on it and dont know how or what code, i have 3 dells, 2 i bought from dell directly and dell wont help, pls, i repeat, its a dell latitude d630 service tag 4LG70G1-595B, i saw in the past pages that a guy was giving a code to people for free, and for the 595b, pls HELP! what should i do, or what can i do?

anyhow, has anyone had any success in unlocking a D630 with 595b on it?
 
help w/ decryption - 620c Dell - password?

I'm super new at all this. I've been trying all kinds of methods for 2 days to bypass, remove, or find the password to a dell 620c laptop that I purchased used off craigslist for cheap, thinking I could figure out how to crack the password. Right now I have opened it up and its sitting here with the CMOS batt removed so it will discharge. I'll put it back together tomorrow and see if it works. For some reason I doubt that this will solve the problem. I've read so much on the internet about this type of password crack, but have failed to find any programs that would generate my password. I need some sort of decryption program I think. My serial tag # is 8PD4GC1 and the number that comes up on the grey and white screen is also that number but with -595B added at the end. I read that the 595B is harder to crack than others. If anyone has any suggestions on decryption or password generators for a dell 620c let me know. Thanks, have a good weekend :)
