Been getting a very annoying, completely random BSOD.
Here's the description...
BCCode : 1000000a BCP1 : 00100004 BCP2 : 0000001C BCP3 : 00000001
BCP4 : 804E2551 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1
It's the same everytime. I've followed the guidelines (memtest, check PSU, cooling, etc) and am none-the-wiser. Maybe it's a driver thing.
Anyway - if someone could take a quick look at my minidumps and just point me in the right direction I'd be very much obliged.
Thank You.

The first three minidumps are crashed at timer routine. The last minidump is crashed with memory corruption. They are the signs of faulty ram. Run memtest to stress test the ram.

Thank's very much for looking into my problem.
I've tested my RAM with Memtest andMemtest+86 - no errors, though I didswitch my sticks yesterday (and so far no BSODs) and I've yet to test them individually...
What if Memtest doesn't pick it up? Would you recommend just going out and getting new memory? Could it be just a matter of switching the sticks? (These errors did start when I upgraded my CPU, motherboard, and RAM - though the RAM worked in the old mobo fine...) Sorry to rattle on - I'm just happy to finally have a lead...
Thanks again.

I can only provode the statistics for the similar cases and it is your responsibility to diagnostic which hardware component is faulty. According to my record, 9 cases are RAM and 6 cases are CPU.

1 Overheat
6 CPU
9 RAM
3 M/B
1 Software
2 PSU
1 Video Card
23 Total

Some faulty can pass memtest. There have no well known utility to test CPU and overheat. Although their Most members at this forum do not feedback their result.

The following cases are similar cases with no feedback

Scratch my last message...
I ran Memtest86 again and got a lot of errors, I didn't let it run long enough the first time... The faulty RAM stick is the new one I just bought though, is it just a compatability issue (as it worked fine w/ the old mobo) or is the stick no good? I'll get new memory and leave a note as to whether the problem has cleared up or not.
Thanks.

...If anyone's interested. I got new RAM but didn't put it in yet...I wanted to see if there was another BSOD, I also downloaded some new drivers (display driver, IDE) and uninstalled a bunch of programs including my bit-torrent client (Bitlord, I'm using uTorrent now.)
Even though the Memtest86 test showed errors I still haven't had anymore BSODs...before I made the changes they seemed to be increasing in frequency...now nothing.
So... I'm still going to change the RAM (as the old was PC 2700 -333, the new PC 3200 - 400) and I just got a new fancy PSU which I've yet to install...but I'm just curious to see if the problem has vanished.
Anyway...
