AMD Stagnation: Five Years of Mainstream Radeon GPUs Tested

All this arguing and nobody seems to recall how terribly the 8GB cards perform on older PCIe revisions. They get obliterated.

Take a person with a 300/400 series AMD board who has dropped in a 5000 series CPU and are limited to PCIe 3.0.

GPU is lowest hanging fruit for a meaningful upgrade and the 16GB card performs as it should while the 8GB performance drops substantially.

Depends on the cards the 9060XT is a x16 connector so is fine, the 5060Ti at x8 not so much.
