Bluescreen on Startup

I ren my defrag overnight, and my PC was frozen when I woke up. I manually rebooted, and before windows starts I get a blue screen.

The problem is, I can't even start windows to do any of that.

1. your registry is corrupted.
2. boot off your XP CD and attempt a repair.
3. if you can boot in SAFE mode, you can run registry repair (CHKDSK)
