Buffer underrun problem with Plextor 708a

Hi, you guys helped me out before, so I was kindda hoping that maybe you could help me out again, with another problem I am having, which is buffer underrun when I'm burning with my PX-708a using Nero on an XP computer... I have a lot of coasters I can tell you that...
Do you have any advice for me? and if you need information about my system, just ask, as I have no idea what to look for...

In Device Manager under IDE/ATAPI Controllers check to make sure they are operating in DMA mode rather than PIO. (Properties -> Advanced Settings).

They are all set to be operating in DMA mode, so that can't be it...

They shouldn't buffer underrun, the drives support burnproof or ultraburn or whatever it is being called these days. Does it only happen in Nero? CDBurnerXP Pro is free so you could try that, or the built in burning in Windows.

Other than that I'd say update your firmware.
