Can I download video to laptop from 8mm camcorder?

I need help. I'm not the most educated person when it comes to technology. I have a 8mm Samsung (model# scw61) Being as it does not have a video card. I would like to be able to download or somehow get the video onto my laptop- which has Windows Vista operating system. So that I can burn it onto a DVD. Is there an adator that I can use to do this? Or is there someway that I can get my tapes onto DVD without sending them off every time I have a new one to get done? If this makes sense to anyone and you think you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your camera has S-Video output, which you use to play back the video on TV. All you need is a TV tuner device for your computer that accepts S-Video input (most do).
