Cannot connect wireless Internet, and laptop lagging

Hi everyone,

I know this issue is getting really old but lately i've been having problems connection to the internet. First of all it does say that i'm connected but when i go on firefox it says problem with server. Also computer lags every few seconds and in the task manager system idle process is 95-99(which is apparently normal from what i've seen). I think something is wrong with my computer, is there some kind of virus im not detecting? Please help. (I have Windows XP Professional Service pack 2)

Try deleting your cookies and temp files and run this temp file cleaner:
Temp File Cleaner

What version of Windows are you running? Service Pack 3 i waiting for you

Hey thanks for the reply, i got impatient and rebooted my comp, lost everything but if the problem happens again ill def try it out. Again thanks for your help.
