Cant watch recorded videos

I recorded videos on windows 10 using Dxtory. When I try to watch them I can only hear the audio of the video but I cant see the video. It just shows a black screen with the sounds playing.

I am not a big tech guy so you are going to have to dumb everything down. I dont know any acronyms so please explain in simplest terms.

Your issue is likely to do with the application rather than your system. You may have overlooked some element of the configuration of Dxtory, so re-read the instructions. If you are concerned that your hardware is not working properly, try using Skype, which has good testing capabilities.

If you have checked your equipment and it works in Skype AND you have re-read the instructions for installing Dxtory and you are sure you have done that right, I would suggest you use the forum for Dxtory ( http://forum.exkode.com/ ) as your best source for a solution.
