Dell 10 inch freeze

when using my daughters dell inspirion 10 inch recently as I search or am on a web page I

see it freezes after about 15minuets use . Also a couple of times I get a loud alarm it stays steady and loud until I shut it down.

I am running Chrome and firefox as Browsers and have just uninstalled Chrome thinking that
it may be using to much memory .

So anyone know what the issues is? Thanks as always

Usual cause in the ones we see is heat. Be sure you are not blocking air flow... lint, etc.
But also, we see a lot of power adapter plugs that are too loose or pull out slightly from vibration or use.

I often keep it on my lap so makes sense I now am typing with it on the tabel . should I elevate it? Thanks
